We are partnering with a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support its growing building design practice across Texas.
This position is ideal for a technically strong Professional Engineer who enjoys remaining hands-on with design, delivering complex projects and mentoring junior engineers rather than moving entirely into project management.
Lead electrical engineering design across commercial, healthcare, higher education, multifamily and mission-critical projects.
Design and review power distribution, lighting, electrical systems and associated construction documentation.
Produce and oversee technical deliverables using Revit and BIM workflows.
Provide technical guidance, quality control and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
Coordinate with architectural, mechanical and other engineering disciplines.
Support projects from concept design through construction administration.
Act as a senior technical resource while remaining actively involved in design production.
15+ years of electrical engineering experience within MEP/building design consulting.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) licence, preferably in Texas. Engineers eligible for Texas reciprocity will be considered.
Strong experience in electrical power distribution, lighting and building systems design.
Proficiency with Revit and BIM-based design workflows.
Experience across multiple commercial building sectors.
Ability to mentor junior engineers while maintaining hands-on technical involvement.
Strong knowledge of applicable electrical codes and engineering standards.
Base salary of $120,000–$180,000, dependent on experience.
Straight-time overtime compensation.
Hybrid working arrangement, three days in office and two remote.
