Senior Engineering Manager \n\nGermantown, WI\n\nThe Senior Engineering Manager leads a multi\u2011site engineering and reliability organization supporting four Wisconsin Taste, Texture \u0026 Health (TTH) manufacturing plants, overseeing capital strategy, process optimization, and technology leadership to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. This position provides strategic and operational leadership for the engineering function across four Wisconsin manufacturing plants. The role ensures full compliance with all Safety, Health \u0026 Environment (SHE), Quality, and dsm\u2011firmenich standards while driving reliability, capability, and continuous improvement throughout the sites. The Engineering Manager is accountable for elevating plant performance through effective management of assets, technology, capital investments, and engineering work processes.\n\nThe dsm\u2011firmenich TTH Wisconsin Hub supports two site leadership teams across four physical locations:\n\n * Germantown McCormick\n * Germantown Mequon\n * Menomonee Falls\n * Waukesha\n\n\n\nThese plants collectively support three key businesses: Cultures, SDI, and Taste.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Drive plant performance improvement by optimizing safety, food quality, reliability, energy efficiency, and operating costs. Lead management of change and the overall multi\u2011site project portfolio.\n * Lead the implementation of new business and R\u0026D initiatives through robust Technology Transfer Protocols and Management of Change (MOC) processes, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient integration into operations.\n * Initiate, lead, and govern capital projects across all sites, from concept to commissioning, while managing the multi\u2011plant project pipeline and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance capability and capacity.\n * Advance manufacturing technology and in\u2011house technical expertise to leverage process innovations, automation, and new opportunities that strengthen competitiveness.\n * Manage and continuously improve operational technology (OT) systems, ensuring cyber\u2011security compliance and reliable integration between production equipment and digital infrastructure.\n * Improve plant reliability by leading execution of dsm\u2011firmenich engineering and reliability work processes, implementing best practices, and developing a strong reliability culture within each site.\n\n\n\nWe Bring:\n\n * A competitive compensation package, with comprehensive health and welfare benefits\n * A place to grow and develop\n * A company that is purpose-led and performance-driven in a corporate culture that values people and planet\n * The opportunity to work on growing brands and build on a strong foundation\n * The chance to make improvements and make an impact on the business\n\n\n\nYou Bring:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in a Biological Science, Engineering, or Food Science\n * \u226510 years of work experience with Food Manufacturing or a related field.\n * \u22655-10 years experience with industrial Food manufacturing and processing\n * \u22655-10 year experience with CapEx Management\n * \u22655-10 year experience writing and presenting technical reports\n * \u22655-10 year experience of project management\n * SAP or other similar business management software\n * Lean Six Sigma certification: GB or higher\n\n\n\nThe salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant\u2019s job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. \n\nIn addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits.
