Senior Field Production Underwriter | Remote

Key Responsibilities

  Review underwriting data, financials, and risk details to make informed decisions and maintain a balanced portfolio.

  Cultivate strong partnerships with wholesale brokers and agency contacts through ongoing outreach and relationship management.
  
  


• 
  
  Play a key role in retaining existing accounts while identifying opportunities to grow the book of business.
  
  


• 
  
  Deliver on assigned premium goals and maintain underwriting discipline to support profitability in the Pittsburgh market.
  
  


• 
  
  Stay current on industry dynamics and competitor activity to proactively identify areas for expansion.
  
  

• 
  
  Minimum of 4–10+ years of experience underwriting commercial casualty business, ideally within the E&S or non-admitted market.
  
  


• 
  
  Proven track record in a production-focused underwriting or territory development role.
  
  


• 
  
  Ability to evaluate complex exposures and make strategic underwriting decisions.
  
  


• 
  
  Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain broker relationships.
  
  


• 
  
  Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  
  

• 
  
  Competitive base salary ranging from $130,000 - $150,000+ (depending on experience) along with performance-based incentive compensation.
