As part of a collaborative HR team spanning Recruiting, Benefits, HRIS, and Learning & Development, this role serves as a key partner in designing, administering, and continuously improving benefits and HR programs that empower our employees and drive organizational success.

Responsibilities






WHAT YOU'LL DO 

  • Take the lead on benefits and HR projects—from rolling out new programs to improving processes and enhancing our systems to better support employees.
  • Partner with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to troubleshoot issues, streamline processes, and continuously improve the employee experience.
  • Keep our data clean and reliable by ensuring accuracy in our HRIS systems, supporting strong reporting and informed decision-making.
  • Support open enrollment from start to finish, including building communications, helping employees understand their options, and testing system functionality.
  • Assist with audits and ongoing reviews, identifying discrepancies, closing gaps, and recommending improvements to strengthen our programs.
  • Help keep us compliant by staying on top of federal, state, and local regulations (ACA, COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, ERISA, and more) and ensuring our practices align.
  • Jump in where needed across HR operations, contributing to special projects and initiatives that support the broader organization.
  • Support the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and status changes—making sure everything runs smoothly within our HR systems.








Qualifications






WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in benefits administration and HR Generalist experience.
  • Applicable certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, CEBS) are strongly preferred.
  • Experience with referenced based pricing is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of applicable employment laws including FMLA, Worker Compensation, Equal Employment Opportunity, ADA, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, proactively identify opportunities for improvement and independently drive tasks, projects, and solutions forward.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex HR and benefits information to employees, leaders, and cross-functional partners at all levels of the organization.
