Senior HVAC Technician

Job Title - Senior HVAC Tech OR Lead Commercial HVAC Tech (local 597 A or B Card)

About the Role:

HVAC or HVAC/R Tech in local 597, commercial heating & air conditioning experience with the willingness to join this local. An excellent opportunity for an early -mid career tech looking to grow and learn with a stable company 30+ years in the field, clear growth path for advancement.

• Some OT depending on workload
  
• Pay rate up to $70/hr (will pay over union scale based on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain boilers, chillers (air -cooled 100–300 tons), cooling towers, pumps, hydronics, WSHPs, and BAS controls (troubleshooting only).
  
• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and light repairs (no tear -downs or rebuilds).
  
• Mentor and support junior technicians in the field.
  
• Communicate directly with building engineers and property managers.
  
• Occasional suburban service calls to maintain full schedules.
  

This Job Is:

• Open to Universal EPA certified HVAC Techs with 10 years experience

Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial HVAC service experience (Local 597 preferred).
  
• Expertise with steam/hot -water boilers, hydronic systems, and chillers - (air cooled or centrifugal )
  
• Strong communication and customer -facing skills.
  
• Dependable, professional, and seeking a long -term role.
