We are looking for a Senior Level Cloud Architect to join a high-impact project with the State Client in New York City!

Key Responsibilities
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures primarily focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) alongside multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Establish organizational cloud standards, frameworks, and governance models.
• Partner closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate strategic requirements into robust cloud solutions.
• Guide engineering teams, supplement technical skill sets, and lead on-premises-to-cloud migration initiatives.
• Drive the expansion of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and DevOps capabilities.
Core Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory / Core Expertise:
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI): 6–9+ years of hands-on architectural experience.
• OCI Certification: OCI Architect Professional or Architect Associate is required/strongly preferred. (Copy/photo of certification credentials must be provided upon submission).
Technical & Architectural Experience:
• Hybrid Infrastructure & Cloud Networking: 4–6 years
• Cloud DevOps & Automation: 4–6 years (Terraform, Ansible, API/CLI)
• Cloud Security: 2–3 years
• Cloud FinOps: 1–2 years
• Architecture Documentation: 2–3 years (Visio or Abacus)
• Multi-Cloud: 1–2 years in Azure, AWS, or GCP (Nice to have)
Database & Platform Specialization:
• Deep familiarity with Oracle Exadata, ExaCC, ExaDB-D, Exascale, DBaaS, and OEM.
• Expertise in database technologies: Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, and licensing strategies.
• Proven track record in High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and SRE principles (SLAs/SLOs/SLIs, monitoring, observability).
• Familiarity with Linux/Network administration and AI integration patterns is a strong plus.
