Pay: $200,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year

Job Description

• Lead sophisticated professional liability and/or employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Develop litigation strategy and provide practical, high-level counsel to clients.
• Draft and oversee complex motions, pleadings, discovery, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Manage client relationships and communicate directly with executives, professionals, insurers, and other stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor associates and collaborate with attorneys across the litigation team.
• Evaluate case exposure, develop resolution strategies, and negotiate favorable outcomes.
• Manage multiple complex matters while maintaining high standards for responsiveness, analysis, and client service.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active California bar admission required.
• 5+ years of professional liability and/or employment litigation experience required.
• Strong litigation strategy, legal writing, deposition, discovery, and client management skills.
• Ability to independently manage sophisticated matters.
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities appropriate for a senior-level attorney.
• Trial, arbitration, mediation, or significant motion practice experience is highly valued.

• Salary Bands (Only if attorney role): 1 to 2 years $100K to $120K;
• 3 to 4 years $120K to $145K;
