In this position...  

Lead the Global Indirect Supply Chain Business Office, serving as the central engine for performance management, operational excellence, governance, and transformation across the global indirect organization. This role is responsible for establishing/enhancing world-class business processes, KPI management, work standards, operating rhythms, and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that improve savings, efficiency, compliance, and customer outcomes.

The Leader will partner closely with global category leaders, regional teams (with an initial focus on North America), finance, operations, technology, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable value through improved transparency, standardization, automation, and execution discipline. The position will play a critical role in unlocking the next generation of indirect savings while improving organizational effectiveness and scalability. The Leader will also direct Indirect Program Management for major industrial programs—including unit programs and vehicles—ensuring required facilities, equipment, supplies, and services are sourced on time and at or below established cost targets.

What you'll do...

Strategy & Business Performance

• Lead the global indirect performance management system.
• Own enterprise KPIs, scorecards, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Establish leading and lagging indicators to measure savings, sourcing excellence, operational efficiency, resilience, and people performance.
• Translate business objectives into measurable initiatives and annual operating plans.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with executive leadership.
• Drive accountability for target attainment across all indirect teams. 

Process Excellence & Standardization

• Develop and institutionalize global standard work across indirect supply chain.
• Establish governance frameworks, playbooks, operating procedures, and controls.
• Eliminate process variation across regions and categories.
• Create scalable operating models that improve consistency, quality, and speed.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and process optimization methods.
• Develop service level agreements and performance standards for critical processes. 

Transformation & Value Creation

• Build and execute the Indirect Supply Chain transformation roadmap.
• Identify opportunities to simplify work, automate activities, and digitize workflows.
• Lead deployment of AI, analytics, and digital sourcing solutions.
• Implement enterprise-wide programs that improve savings capture, sourcing effectiveness, and operational productivity.
• Establish mechanisms to quantify value realization and business impact.
• Drive organizational change management and capability adoption

Savings & Productivity Leadership

• Partner with category teams to identify and unlock incremental savings opportunities.
• Create transparency to sourcing pipelines, market testing, control towers, compliance, and spend management activities.
• Benchmark internal and external performance to identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop productivity frameworks and resource utilization metrics.
• Ensure savings reporting and value capture methodologies are consistent globally. 

Industrial Program Management

• Lead Indirect Program Management for major industrial programs, including batteries, powertrains, and vehicles.
• Integrate Indirect Supply Chain requirements into program timing, sourcing strategies, budgets, and launch plans.
• Ensure facilities, equipment, supplies, and services are sourced and available to support program milestones and production readiness.
• Drive cross-functional issue resolution, supplier readiness, and execution against timing, cost, quality, and risk targets.
• Maintain visibility to program sourcing status, cost performance, risks, owners, and recovery actions.
• Deliver program requirements on time and at or below established cost targets.

Organizational Effectiveness

• Establish a global operating rhythm for indirect supply chain leadership.
• Coordinate priorities and resources across regions and categories.
• Lead governance forums, executive reviews, and strategic planning processes.
• Drive capability development, training, and knowledge management.
• Create a culture of accountability, transparency, and data-driven decision making.
• Build future-state organizational capabilities required for a world-class indirect supply chain organization.

Skills and Capabilities:

You'll have...

Minimum

• Bachelor's degree Business or technical related field.
• 7+ years of experience with proven leadership experience in supply chain, procurement, business operations, or transformation.
• 7+ years of experience leading procurement or supply chain execution for complex industrial programs, including batteries, powertrains, vehicles, manufacturing facilities, or capital equipment.
• 7+ years of experience with deep expertise in performance management, process excellence, and governance.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen with a track record of delivering measurable business results.
• Experience leading large-scale operational and digital transformations.
• Ability to influence senior executives and drive change across global organizations.
• Demonstrated capability building scalable systems, standard work, and operating models.
• Strong communication, executive presentation, and organizational leadership skills.

This position is leadership level 5 and ranges from $141,700-$268,300. 

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
