The Role

Castelion is hiring Senior Manufacturing Engineers (5+ years) to own and scale production of critical components for long-range hypersonic strike systems. In a 0-to-1 manufacturing environment, you will drive the transition from prototype to scalable production of thousands of units a year. Castelion needs people who have built and scaled manufacturing capacity, not just sustained it.

What You Will Do

• Own a critical subsystem or component and drive its manufacturing: defining processes, building capacity and improving reliability and efficiency.
• Develop and scale production processes for complex hardware (composites, solid rocket motors, bonding/epoxy, machined components or specialty materials).
• Turn development-stage manufacturing into production-ready assembly lines.
• Write and refine build instructions, test procedures, safety standards and mBOMs.
• Partner with design engineers on DFM and secure the resources to hit production deliverables.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
• A record of building and scaling manufacturing capacity for complex hardware
• Experience with composites, energetics, bonding, machining or specialty materials processing
• NX, Teamcenter or similar CAD/PDM tools
• US citizenship or green card (defense work)
• Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in Torrance, CA or Rio Rancho, NM

REVENUE: 17% of first-year salary. Est. fee per hire $27K-$34K; 6 seat(s) = up to $184K if all filled.
