Senior Marketing Manager, Inkitt

Inkitt is building the Disney of the 21st Century, standing at the forefront of technology and entertainment. Leveraging AI and predictive algorithms, Inkitt discovers unknown stories and turns them into blockbuster hits, producing a new $1M ebook every 4 weeks and selling directly to consumers through its Galatea app. Inkitt has become the 11th most bestseller-generating publisher in the world, boasting a 40x higher hit-rate than traditional publishers. Recently raising a Series C and backed by some of the top VC’s such as: Khosla, Kleiner Perkins, and NEA Ventures, our recent expansion into GalateaTV is only the beginning of our journey to becoming the next-gen entertainment powerhouse.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive 4x growth in readership and authorship
• Strong preference in non-paid solutions
• Enhance Inkitt’s brand presence in the publishing market. Develop and execute brand strategies that clearly communicate the company’s value proposition to a global audience
• Strategic vision, capable of both big-picture thinking and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring strategies are both visionary but also grounded
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, like Product Management and Engineering, to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives

• Track record of successfully delivering growth in two-sided market places (e.g Uber, AirBnB, Spotify, SoundCloud, Fiverr, etc.)
• Strong analytical skills with a growth-hacker mindset and strategic thinking capability
• A deep understanding and experience with at least 2-3 of the following: SEO, social media, viral posts, referral marketing, partnerships and affiliates/influencers
• Experience working with/for senior leadership (e.g. VP level or CEO)

The annual base salary range for this position is $60,000-$320,000 USD. Compensation will be determined by skill level, proficiencies, and experience.
