Senior Mechanical Process Designer

We have an opportunity in our Tampa, Florida office for an Environmental Compliance Specialist, who aspires to become an active employee in a vibrant, well-established company.

• Preparation and revision of design layout and technical drawings for municipal water and wastewater projects
• Provide leadership and mentoring to junior level CADD drafters
• Regular collaboration with engineering project managers other design disciplines and engineering teams
• Following corporate drafting and quality assurance standards

• Associate’s degree in a Design/Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology or appropriate experience
• 15-25 years of experience drafting and designing water/wastewater treatment systems, pumps, piping and other process mechanical systems
• Strong technical skills using AutoCAD
• Experience working with 3D piping design software is beneficial but not required (i.e. Plant 3D)
• Basic understanding of wastewater treatment process equipment, process tanks, process buildings and piping  systems will be useful in this position
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both within a team and independently
• Self-starter and willing and able to work on a variety of tasks with minimal supervision
