Senior Operating Room Assistant - Surgery

Senior Operating Room Assistant- Surgery- at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour Variable shifts.

The Surgical Services Equipment Technician is responsible for efficient and effective support as it pertains to equipment maintenance, facilitation of room turnovers and disbursement of supplies. This individual will act as the Surgery Department liaison with the Facilities Department. The Surgical Service Equipment Technician also performs basic patient care by assisting in the care, transferring to OR table/gurney, and transporting of surgical patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Works under direct supervision.

Required qualifications:

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire


• Job-related experience in a hospital.

Preferred qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of a hospital based Nursing Assistant program


• 1 year of OR Technician, Anesthesia Technician or Central Supply.


• 1 year of Clinical experience as a Nursing Assistant.
