Are you an experienced maintenance professional looking for a hands-on role where you can make a real impact? Envirogen is seeking a Senior Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee, supporting the operation and maintenance of our ion exchange regeneration facility.
In this role, you will work closely with the Plant Manager and Engineering team to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the facility. You will take ownership of preventive and corrective maintenance activities, perform equipment repairs and installations, maintain maintenance records, and help drive continuous improvement across the site.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced industrial maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, working independently, and contributing to critical water treatment operations.
What you'll be doing
Coordinate and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities across the facility.
Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain pumps, blowers, compressors, piping systems, instrumentation, flow meters, gauges, and other process equipment.
Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, including work orders, spare parts inventory, and parts requisitions.
Work with Plant Management and Engineering to improve plant reliability, performance, and operating procedures.
Support environmental, health, and safety compliance initiatives and promote a strong safety culture.
Conduct monthly site safety audits.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, including obtaining quotations, supporting contractor selection, overseeing site works, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Requirements
What we're looking for
Experienced in industrial plant maintenance.
Strong mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
Experience working with pumps, compressors, piping systems, instrumentation, and industrial process equipment.
The ability to work independently and effectively manage changing priorities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
A valid driver's licence.
Experience in welding, fabrication, general construction, or heavy equipment operation would be advantageous.
