Hybrid schedule: Work in the office four days per week and remotely one day per week.
Travel: Approximately 25%.
Position Summary
The Senior Procurement Manager â Rigid Packaging will lead sourcing and supplier management activities for a significant category portfolio while providing leadership and development to a team of two direct reports. This role will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure supply continuity, optimize costs, and support strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies for rigid packaging categories.
Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management activities.
Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and finance.
Identify and implement cost savings and value creation opportunities.
Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and risk mitigation strategies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support innovation efforts.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of two procurement professionals.
Ensure supply continuity and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Progressive procurement and strategic sourcing experience, preferably within packaging or related manufacturing industries.
Experience with rigid packaging categories strongly preferred.
Proven supplier negotiation and contract management expertise.
Demonstrated leadership experience with direct reports.
Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to travel approximately 25%.
