A well-established and rapidly expanding commercial drywall and metal framing contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support continued growth in the New York / New Jersey market. This is a key leadership role with immediate responsibility for active, large-scale commercial projects.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned commercial construction professional with deep experience in drywall and metal stud framing who can step into an existing workload and take full ownership of complex, high-value projects.

Position Overview

This role requires a hands-on, financially savvy Project Manager capable of managing multiple large commercial drywall projects simultaneously. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for both operational execution and financial performance, working closely with field leadership and executive management to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

This is not a training or junior role. The company is seeking a true senior-level commercial PM who understands the pace, complexity, and accountability required in commercial drywall construction.

Key Responsibilities

  Manage multiple commercial drywall and metal framing projects concurrently

  
  


• 
  

  Oversee individual projects typically valued at $5M+

  
  


• 
  

  Run an annual project volume of approximately $12M–$18M+

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain full responsibility for project budgets, cost control, forecasting, and profitability

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and manage project schedules, manpower planning, and material coordination

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with superintendents, field leadership, estimators, and subcontractors

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate with executive leadership on project status, risks, and performance

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality and safety standards

  
  


• 
  

  Proactively resolve issues and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners

  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• 
  

  10+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial drywall and metal framing

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated success managing large, complex commercial projects

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of project financials, job costing, and cost controls

  
  


• 
  

  Experience running multiple concurrent projects with significant dollar value

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to operate independently with minimal oversight

  
  


• 
  

  Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  
  


• 
  

  Commercial construction background required
