Senior Project Manager - Greenfield Data Center Construction

Location: Amarillo, TX (Onsite — 5 days a week)
Compensation: $175,000 - $200,000 total compensation package
Project: Confidential $6B Greenfield Hyperscale Data Center (3-year program)

We’re recruiting for an elite construction management firm — known in the data center industry for delivering some of the most complex, high-stakes, and high-profile projects in the country. Their leadership team and client roster are a who's who of hyperscale, enterprise, and colocation providers. This is your chance to lead a $6B flagship data center project in Amarillo, TX, from pre-construction through commissioning.

What You’ll Own

• 
  

  Command the entire project lifecycle, from pre-construction through commissioning, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-quality delivery.

  Drive the master project schedule, managing critical path activities, and proactively mitigating risks.
  

  
  


• 
  

  Lead coordination between ownership, contractors, consultants, architects, and permitting authorities.
  

  
  


• 
  

  Oversee budgeting, cost control, change orders, and financial accountability.
  

  
  


• 
  

  Enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and data center-specific construction best practices.
  

  
  


• 
  

  Manage all permitting, zoning, and regulatory compliance.
  

  
  


• 
  

  Oversee commissioning, systems testing, and handover to operations.
  
  

  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 
  

  15+ years in construction management, including direct data center project experience.
  

  
  


• 
  

  Strong background in general contracting, architecture, or engineering.
  

  
  


• 
  

  Deep understanding of MEP systems, mission-critical infrastructure, and data center best practices.
  

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to influence teams and stakeholders without direct authority.
  

  
  


• 
  

  Strategic thinker with the ability to zoom out while also diving into details as needed.

  Strong written and verbal communication, including active listening and clear articulation of ideas.
