Sales Support is responsible for coordinating between the sales team and our customers to deliver the best customer experience through customer/project onboard to project completion.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate service and support for sales activities, working with internal and external customers, contractors, and/or business partners.
Provide tools, resources, services, and analysis to enable team members to perform their jobs more effectively and focus on customers.
Manage high-volume quoting activities through advanced Excel usage and analysis, ensuring pricing accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and providing timely reporting to internal stakeholders
Maintain a strong relationship with supply chain and operations partners for daily activity and production quality
Supports the sales team with customer communication related to multi-unit renovation projects.
Coordinates with order processing, supply chain and operations on timing of cabinet assembly and delivery.
Create and process contracts for all accounts. Communicate any items to be addressed and/or needs for revision prior to contract execution.
Determine if a sale is complete by ensuring the contract, pricing tool, and CRM opportunity match.
Coordinate meetings as necessary for internal and external parties.
Develop policies, procedures, training, and testing as needed.
Utilizes problem solving skills to respond to and resolve routine customer service issues via inbound and outbound telephone calls, written correspondence and/or electronic communication, and in person according to all company policies, standard operating procedures, and contract coverage.
Maintains current knowledge of all company policies, procedures, & programs
Address customer concerns, rectify any errors, and enter customer orders with a high level of accuracy.
Other tasks as deemed necessary.
Required Education & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales/marketing or a related field or relevant equivalent work experience
Proven work experience as a Sales support specialist or Sales support associate
Demonstrated hands-on experience with ERP and CRM systems required; prior experience with Oracle-based applications required
Advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Excel – including use of PivotTables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and complex formula creation – applicants with only basic spreadsheet skills will not be considered.
Proven track record of identifying data issues, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of critical business information.
In-depth understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Flexibility to operate with sales team and customer schedule in mind
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally, build trust, manage relationships, and consistently meet the needs of internal and external customers.
Strong planning skills to accurately scope out length and difficulty of tasks/projects, set objectives and goals, break work down into steps, develop schedules, anticipate and adjust for problems and roadblocks
Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
