Senior Software Engineer Full Stack

About the Role

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join an early-stage fintech team building modern financial products for the Mexican market. This role is ideal for a backend-leaning full-stack engineer who enjoys building greenfield products, AI-powered applications, and high-performance financial systems from the ground up.

You will work closely with a small engineering and product team, owning features end-to-end across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own full-stack features from UI through backend services and deployment.
• Develop scalable web applications using modern TypeScript and React technologies.
• Design and develop backend systems supporting payments, payouts, lending, and financial workflows.
• Build reliable services capable of handling high transaction volumes and growing user demand.
• Contribute to merchant tools including payroll, point-of-sale, and inventory workflows.
• Develop AI-powered products, including agentic applications and financial assistants.
• Work with databases, APIs, queues, and distributed application components.
• Apply AI-assisted development practices to improve engineering productivity and product delivery.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to turn requirements into production-ready software.
• Make architecture and technical decisions in a greenfield environment with minimal legacy code.
• Take ownership of projects and deliver production features in a fast-paced startup environment.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with full-stack development.
• Strong experience developing both frontend and backend systems.
• Backend-leaning full-stack engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript and React or comparable modern web technologies.
• Experience building high-performance web applications across browser and server architecture.
• Experience working with databases, APIs, and distributed or asynchronous systems.
• Experience building and shipping production software.
• Ability to work on-site 5 days per week in San Francisco, CA.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building or deploying AI systems or AI agents in production.
• Fintech, payments, banking, lending, payouts, or financial technology experience.
• Experience with ledgers or cross-border financial transactions.
• Experience working at a high-growth startup.
• Experience transitioning from a large technology company to a startup environment.
• Experience with databases and queuing systems at scale.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Compensation & Benefits

• $180,000–$275,000 annual salary

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in San Francisco, California, working closely with a growing engineering team. The team is building new products with minimal legacy infrastructure, providing engineers with significant ownership and opportunities to influence architecture and technical direction.
