Role: Senior Software Engineer (Java/J2EE)

Location: East Windsor, New Jersey

Experience: 5 - 7  Years

Description:

Senior Software Engineer will work closely with lead developers, architects and data/business analyst. This person will implement, test and document as needed. Occasionally the developer will be client interacting, they should feel confident publicly speaking and explaining technical configurations. This person will also work with the client relations and project management teams insuring the SpectraMedix product is meeting the highest standards of quality and satisfying its customers.

Job Description:

• Design cloud-based applications including analyzing, designing, reviewing and building product in Java/J2EE development environment.
  


• Design, develop a software solution to address business requirements using JAVA/J2EE Object Oriented programming (OOPS) concepts, software design patterns and web security standards.
  


• Develop unit test cases, Integration test cases using Junit, Spring.
  


• Load, Analyze and map client data to Spectramedix’s Datawarehouse. Define and Setup Transformation rules.
  


• Implement Production/UAT Jobs and Portal for Client Implementations and complete them as per the Implementation schedule.
  


• Automate, Configure, deploy and test web-based applications.
  


• Support Client Implementation activities.
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java Development
  


• Bachelor / Masters or equivalent degree in any engineering or technical / quantitative field
  

Technical Expertise:

• Java, J2EE (OOPS / Collections / multithreading)
  


• Servlets / Spring (MVC/Security) / Hibernate
  


• Restful Web services (JAX-RS, JAX-WS)
  


• XML, JSON, JSP
  


• SQL Server
  


• Tomcat Server
