Senior Staff Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate is someone that has a strong accounting foundation and is attentive to detail. This role will support our controller and finance department and contribute to critical aspects of the financial statement close. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter and is invigorated by new and exciting challenges. Responsibilities

• Performing month-end closing procedures including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of sub-ledgers and GL account reconciliations


• Review and import daily billings transactions into the accounting system


• Assisting with the implementation of new systems and integration of acquired companies


• Assisting with financial statement audits


• Conducting ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required


• Assisting with certain finance and accounting projects

Qualifications:

• Accounting degree required


• CPA, preferred


• Three+ years of accounting experience; some public accounting experience preferred


• Strong understanding of US GAAP


• Advanced knowledge of Excel


• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)


• Excellent interpersonal skills and analytical abilities


• Attention to detail and good time management skill

This job is ON SITE in Provo, UT 2 days a week.
