Senior Strategic Planner

Pay: $180,000.00/annual

The pay listed is the salaried rate for this position.   A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

● Data Synthesis & Insights: Aggregate, analyze, and interpret complex data streams—including badge swipe data, sensor metrics, HR headcount growth forecasts, and IWMS records—to deliver deep insights into daily and historical utilization across office environments and specialized operational spaces. 

● Planner Project Support: Partner closely with other Senior Planners to bolster their localized planning projects; serve as the designated subject matter expert to field data-related questions, validate spatial hypotheses, and provide the technical backup needed for their client presentations. 

● Proactive Demand Modeling: Design and implement new predictive modeling processes and "early warning" triggers to forecast capacity constraints across diverse asset types and alert business leadership of future space requirements. 

● Reporting Architecture: Establish and own the cadence for sophisticated, ongoing utilization reports and interactive dashboards that communicate portfolio health and operational efficiency to executive stakeholders. 

● Policy Development: Translate data findings into strategic recommendations; author and iterate on tailored workplace and operational space policies (e.g., hybrid schedules, neighborhood sharing ratios, and flexible seating guidelines) to optimize footprint efficiency. ,

● Strategic Client Advisory: Partner directly with business unit leaders and real estate executives, translating intricate data points into compe ling, narrative-driven strategic options (such as lease renewals, consolidations, or expansions).

● Experience: 7+ years of experience in corporate strategic planning, corporate real estate analytics, or business inte ligence roles. Experience managing data for varied or non-traditional spaces is highly valued. 

● Managerial Experience: In this role you wil be responsible for managing one Data and Reporting Specialist 

● Collaborative Mindset: Proven ability to work side-by-side with peer planners, translating their real-world spatial problems into structured data queries and actionable solutions. 

● Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., advanced Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or Alteryx). Experience handling high-volume spatial, operational, and demographic datasets is mandatory. 

● Strategic Planning: Proven track record of turning raw data into high-level strategic plans, corporate policies, and space solutions for both office and unique operational layouts. 

● Education: Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, data science, design, architecture, or an analytical field (such as Finance, Statistics, Urban Planning, or Business Administration). 

● Communication: Exceptional ability to translate data for non-technical audiences and peers, building executive-level narratives out of complex datasets. 

● Cross-Functional Enablement: Qualitative feedback from peer Senior Planners on data accessibility, responsiveness to project queries, and the efficacy of supporting analytical toolsets. 

● Process Automation: Successful deployment and client adoption of automated utilization dashboarding and alert systems.
