This position will report to the Manager of Customer Supply Chain-Retail Sales.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Senior Supply Chain Analyst partners with the Manager of Customer Supply Chain to ensure customer supply chain expectations are met in a cost-effective manner while delivering mutual value for Walmart and Hormel. This position will provide analytical support to drive supply chain improvements to create beneficial outcomes for both the customer and Hormel. This role will interface and work cross-functionally with Supply Chain and Retail Teams.  

• Develop and maintain Walmart customer supply chain scorecards and performance reporting, providing actionable insights that improve service, inventory performance, and supply chain efficiency. The incumbent will support frontline sales for Walmart at Top 2 Top meetings/joint business plans with supply chain insights and recommendations as prioritized with the Manager of Customer Supply Chain.  This individual will lead day-to-day customer supply chain engagement with Walmart.
• Serve as the primary customer supply chain contact for Walmart, resolving recurring service challenges and identifying opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs. Attend regularly scheduled meetings with Walmart.
• Integrate and analyze data from multiple supply chain systems to identify trends, support Walmart business reviews and negotiations, improve network efficiency, and drive profitable growth. 
• This position will also support the Manager of Customer Supply Chain to proactively address service failures, inventory challenges, transportation disruptions, and forecasting issues.

Success in this position will be measured through improvements in customer service metrics, inventory performance, supply chain cost savings, OTIF performance, and the development of strong customer and cross-functional business relationships. This role offers an opportunity to influence supply chain strategy for one of Hormel’s most important retail customers while working closely with sales, customer teams, and internal supply chain partners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of sales, logistics, or supply chain-related experience.
• Self-motivated to identify opportunities and create benefits to Walmart and Hormel—Win-Win.
• Proven problem-solving, continuous improvement, and decision-making skills.
• The ability to work in a team environment on a variety of complex projects.
• Well-developed interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and analytical skills.
• Strong analytical and computer skills, including advanced Excel, Power BI, data visualization, and quantitative analysis.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing disparate sources of data.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bentonville, AR, and work regularly from the Bentonville sales office.

Preferred

• Experience working with Walmart supply chain processes and systems, including Retail Link, replenishment processes, OTIF, and AER.
• 5+ years of sales, logistics, or supply chain-related experience.
• Strong ability to present to and negotiate with the customer.

The base pay range for this position $89,050 to $124,675 per year; however, actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills set, level of experience, and specific office location.
