## \nCompany:\n\nQualcomm Technologies, Inc.\n\n## Job Area:\n\nEngineering Services Group, Engineering Services Group \u003e Engineering Technician\n\nGeneral Summary:\n\nThe PMIC Product Development and Test Engineering (PDTE) group develops bench\u2011 and ATE\u2011based test solutions to enable silicon validation, characterization, qualification, and high\u2011volume manufacturing of Qualcomm\u2019s highly integrated Power Management and Analog ICs.\n\nThis Senior Technician role is a hands\u2011on position focused on bench and ATE execution, hardware bring\u2011up, measurement reporting, and lab operations in support of PMIC design verification, new product introduction (NPI), and production support activities across the full product lifecycle.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Execute IC validation and characterization testing on bench and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) platforms for PMIC and Analog devices.\n * Set up, maintain, and debug bench test systems, PCBs, and supporting lab hardware.\n * Perform electrical measurements, process and analyze data, and clearly document results.\n * Partner closely with IC Design, Systems, Product, Bench, and Test Engineers to debug silicon, hardware, and test issues.\n * Support hardware and software debug, including basic test scripts, instrument control, and measurement automation.\n * Calibrate and maintain bench test equipment and ensure measurement integrity and repeatability.\n * Support NPI and qualification activities, including correlation between bench, ATE, and manufacturing test environments.\n * Assist with high\u2011volume manufacturing support, including yield excursions, test escapes, customer return (RMA) analysis, and debug activities.\n * Contribute to continuous improvement of lab efficiency, safety, and best practices.\n\n\n\nRequired for this Role:\n\n * Associate\u2019s degree, or higher, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n * Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals, including circuit analysis and hardware debug.\n * Ability to read and work from electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.\n * Hands\u2011on experience with common lab equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, spectrum/network analyzers, power meters, etc.\n * Working knowledge of PMIC and analog measurements, such as load/line regulation, PSRR, efficiency, power, jitter, and phase noise.\n * Familiarity with PCB bring\u2011up, rework, and troubleshooting.\n * Understanding of engineering statistics and data interpretation.\n * Strong documentation and communication skills; able to work effectively with cross\u2011functional teams.\n * Ability to manage multiple tasks and support schedule\u2011driven execution in a fast\u2011paced environment.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n * Exposure to Automated Test Equipment (ATE), wafer probers, and device handlers.\n * Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) or silicon qualification activities.\n * Experience with measurement automation or instrument control software (e.g., Python, C#, or similar).\n * Understanding of high\u2011volume semiconductor manufacturing and production test flows.\n * Strong soldering and rework skills (fine\u2011pitch components preferred).\n * Prior experience supporting PMIC, mixed\u2011signal, or analog ASICs in a lab or manufacturing environment.\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree. \nOR \nAssociate\u0027s degree and 1+ year of Engineering Technician or related work experience. \nOR \nHigh School Diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of Engineering Technician or related work experience. \n \nPhysical Requirements: \n\u2022 Frequently transports and installs equipment weighing at least 25 lbs.\n\nApplicants: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
