The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.\n\n## Your Responsibilities\n\n**This position is available in either the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX or Nasvhille, TN markets**\n\nAs a Senior Technology Sales Specialist for JD Construction \u0026 Forestry located in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX or Nashville, TN market you will:\n\n * Drive revenue to stated metrics including developing dealer business plans\n * Develop dealer technology teams by providing grade management expertise and SmartGrade\u2122 Sales support\n * Support on-site Precision Construction technology training to John Deere Dealers and customers.\n * Be the expert on technology ecosystems as well as a specific SmartGrade product platform\n * Collaborate with development teams on customer validation of new products and continuous improvement updates.\n\n\n\nVISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position\n\n## What Skills You Need\n\n * Experience with Grade Control or GNSS technology (development, deployment, training, or support) or construction technology\n * Experience collaborating with and supporting dealers/distributors\n * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and PowerPoint\n * Solid communication skills (written and verbal)\n * Ability to influence without authority\n * Training experience\n * Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% \n\n\n\n## What Makes You Stand Out\n\n * 3 or more years of experience using, selling or supporting grade control on construction equipment\n * 3 or more years of experience developing/training dealer sales professionals\n * 3 or more years of experience in product support \n * Experience as a Surveyor, GPS Manager, Grade Control Specialist, or Technology Specialist within the Construction industry or with a distributor\n\n\n\n## Education \n\nIdeally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:\n\n * Engineering, Construction Management, Marketing, or Business \n\n\n\nWhat You\u0027ll Get\n\nAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
