A well-established, privately held organization with significant scale and a complex financial operation is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst to join its Treasury team.
This is a highly visible opportunity for a hands-on Treasury professional who enjoys working with large cash portfolios, liquidity management, short-term investments, banking relationships, forecasting, and Treasury technology.
The role will report into senior Treasury leadership within a lean team, providing the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of the company's cash and investment activities while helping modernize and improve Treasury processes.
What You'll Do
Lead daily cash positioning and liquidity management across a significant portfolio of cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments.
Execute and oversee wires, ACH payments, cash transfers, and investment transactions, ensuring appropriate controls and approvals.
Develop cash flow forecasts and liquidity models to anticipate short- and long-term funding needs.
Monitor investments, including maturities, yields, counterparty exposure, concentration, and investment policy compliance.
Improve the Treasury Management System (TMS) through automation, bank connectivity, reporting enhancements, and AI-enabled initiatives.
Build Power BI dashboards and executive reporting that translate complex Treasury data into actionable insights.
Provide analysis to senior leadership around liquidity, investments, cash positioning, and Treasury risk.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a quantitative field; MBA or CTP is a plus.
4–7 years of progressive corporate Treasury experience.
Strong experience with cash positioning, liquidity management, cash forecasting, payment execution, and Treasury controls.
Experience with short-term investments such as money market funds, commercial paper, or Treasury securities.
Strong understanding of banking structures, payment processes, and commercial banking relationships.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; Power BI and SQL experience highly desirable.
Experience with a Treasury Management System such as Kyriba, GTreasury, or similar is a plus.
Strong analytical, communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
This is more than a traditional Treasury Analyst position. You'll have direct exposure to a large-scale cash and investment portfolio while working within a lean team where your contributions can have a meaningful impact.
The organization offers the stability of a long-established, financially significant company while continuing to invest in technology, automation, data analytics, and process improvement.
