The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. \n\n# You\u0027ll Bring These Qualifications:\n\n\u200bThis requisition may be filled at either the Design Engineer level or Principal Design Engineer level. \n\n * Design Engineer: Bachelor\u0027s degree with 2 years\u2019 experience; 0 years\u2019 experience with a Master\u2019s degree. - an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.\n\n * Principal Design Engineer: Bachelors degree with 5 years\u0027 experience; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD\n\n\n\n\nRequired for both levels:\n\n * Must have a a DoD active Secret clearance at the time of application.\n\n * Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) clearance as a condition of continued employment.\n\n * Knowledge of construction materials and construction details and techniques.\n\n * Experience with Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Power Point, and Engineering Scheduling tools and applications, and be able to use the Internet as an information gathering and communications tool.\n\n * Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly and succinctly communicate complex concepts to both Government and corporate leadership\n\n\n\n\n# These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:\n\n * Proficiency with Revit, Siemens NX and Teamcenter\n\n * Active DoD Secret security clearance with the most recent investigation completed in the last 5 years.\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
