This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program.\n\nWhat You Will Get To Do:\n\nLead Launch Systems efforts for Sentinel Support and Training (S\u0026T) systems, reporting to the S\u0026T BU Lead. Responsibilities include leadership over the following areas for Support and Trainings systems:\n\n\u2022 Responsible for S\u0026T requirements decomposition and verification.\n\n\u2022 Responsible for integration within the support and training segments of the weapon system\n\n\u2022 Integration and Test\u2013 Responsible for the integrated testing of S\u0026T equipment, this includes test planning, test execution, and requirements verification of Support Equipment and Major Maintenance Vehicles.\n\n\u2022 Initiate a collaborative environment with other systems engineering organizations both within S\u0026T and across the Sentinel program to ensure successful development of CDRLs and overall systems engineering execution.\n\n\u2022 Participate in establishing and direct the implementation of model-based digital engineering processes used in the design and development of the Sentinel support and training systems, at all levels of decomposition.\n\n\u2022 Ensure SE Product quality and consistency and manage auditing and oversight functions, including metrics development and management.\n\n\u2022 Interface closely with the S\u0026T Segment Lead and implement systems engineering priorities for the team\n\n\u2022 Measuring and reporting program performance through development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM)\n\n\u2022 Ensuring program team understands and adheres to contract scope, and manages change through control board activities\n\nPosition Benefits:\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \n\n\u2022 Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage \n\n\u2022 401k \n\n\u2022 Educational Assistance \n\n\u2022 Life Insurance \n\n\u2022 Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n\n\u2022 Paid Time Off \n\n\u2022 Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n\n\u2022 Employee Discounts \n\nThis positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. \n\nYou Will Bring These Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 8 years of related experience or Master\u0027s degree and 6 years of related experience\n\n\u2022 Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years\n\nThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:\n\n\u2022 ICBM experience\n\n\u2022 Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience\n\n\u2022 Prior experience interfacing with prime contractor site leads and USAF leadership personnel\n\n\u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience formally leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal.\n\n\u2022 Active DoD TS/SCI clearance\n\n\u2022 Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager\n\n\u2022 Demonstrated effectiveness in achieving results through managing people and understanding and management of internal processes and customer/supplier relationships.\n\n\u2022 Strong understanding and broad application of engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.)\n\n\u2022 Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities\n\n\u2022 Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions in uncertain and difficult situations\n\n\u2022 Strong sense of urgency and work ethic in ensuring engineering meets customer and program expectations in a timely and efficient manner\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $166,700.00 - $250,100.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
