This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. \n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do: \n\n\u00b7 Analyzing and validating electromechanical hardware models, systems, and other related documents (e.g., GD\u0026T, materials, form/fit/function, manufacturability, feasibility, and economy of fabrication).\n\n\u00b7 Recommending changes/revisions to design packages necessary for approval and buy-off during multiphase review meetings as a Mission Assurance (MA) / DA representative.\n\n\u00b7 Review practices, procedures, and processes aiming to standardize and continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness to reduce risk to product quality.\n\n\u00b7 Participating in engineering boards as a Mission Assurance / Design Assurance representative.\n\n\u00b7 Develop and maintain metrics representative of assigned scope for program review and visibility\n\n\u00b7 Review subcontractor design work and provide recommendations/changes for approval.\n\n\u00b7 Maintain a Quality Management System ensuring that products and services conform to company standards of excellence (e.g., AS9100, Statement of Work).\n\n\u00b7 Perform other Mission Assurance related tasks and objectives (e.g., program improvement efforts, collaborations, planning).\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \n\u2022 Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage \n\u2022 401k \n\u2022 Educational Assistance \n\u2022 Life Insurance \n\u2022 Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n\u2022 Paid Time Off \n\u2022 Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n\u2022 Employee Discounts \n\nThis position\u2019s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Relocation may be offered.\n\nYou\u2019ll Bring These Qualifications:\n\n\u00b7 Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience or Masters degree and 3 years experience\n\n\u00b7 1+ year(s) experience leading projects or cross-functional teams.\n\n\u00b7 Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need\n\nThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:\n\n\u00b7 Experience managing people.\n\n\u00b7 Experience as a design engineer or design assurance engineer.\n\n\u00b7 Experience with Siemens CPLM and NX or similar.\n\n\u00b7 Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously.\n\n\u00b7 Experience in Mission Assurance / Quality.\n\n\u00b7 Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD\u0026T) per ASME Y14.5.\n\n\u00b7 Experience with abiding and maintaining a multiphase design/approval process.\n\n\u00b7 Experience with abiding and maintaining a Quality Management System.\n\n\u00b7 Experience working in an AS9100 or ISO9001 certified workplace.\n\n\u00b7 Experience with Agile software development methodologies.\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $104,500.00 - $156,700.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
