This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel Program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nThe selected candidate will be responsible for a Systems Engineering discipline Section within the SDS Systems Engineering organization and will report directly to an SDS Systems Engineering Department Manager. You will provide career mentorship and operational support to a Functional Home Room (FHR) team (Section) of between 8 and 12 Individual Contributors (ICs) based on Engineering goals, objectives, and company policy. Key FHR responsibilities will be personnel performance management, process familiarization and training for Section members, as well as staffing of roles on projects.\n\nAs a Section Manager you will be expected to spend roughly 20% of your effort on Functional Homeroom responsibilities with 80% of your efforts focused on a technical assignment on an SDS project or IPT (80% technical scope not a part of the requisition)\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do:\n\n\u2022 Grow, develop, and manage a diverse team of post flight data processing engineers\n\n\u2022 Develop a system to receive and process flight test data from the testing range\n\n\u2022 Lead development of software tools to manage and process flight test data\n\n\u2022 Flight test data processing to include decryption, best bit selection, and quality analysis of raw flight test data\n\n\u2022 System performance assessment, requirements analysis, verification and validation, design, development, and integration\n\n\u2022 Create technical reports and present analysis results\n\n\u2022 Interface with internal and external customers\n\n\u2022 Perform root-cause analysis for out of tolerance and anomalous test data results\n\n\u2022 People leadership for a systems engineering organization, to include performance management, career development, staffing, and merit planning\n\n\u2022 Working with program leadership to assess issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and program cost/schedule objectives as well as developing and maintaining metrics for monitoring the team\u0027s progress\n\n\u2022 Managing cost accounts associated with assigned statement of work\n\nPosition Benefits:\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:\n\n\\- Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage\n\n\\- 401k\n\n\\- Educational Assistance\n\n\\- Life Insurance\n\n\\- Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions\n\n\\- Paid Time Off\n\n\\- Health \u0026 Wellness Resources\n\n\\- Employee Discounts\n\nThis positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nYou\u2019ll Bring These Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) with at least 8 Years of related experience; 6 Years with Masters\n\n\u2022 Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (\u003c6 years), with the ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance\n\n\u2022 Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need\n\n\u2022 Experience generating, handling, processing, or analyzing test data\n\nThese Qualifications Are Nice To Have:\n\n\u2022 Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years.\n\n\u2022 3+ years\u2019 experience leading systems engineering efforts\n\n\u2022 Familiarity with ICBM flight testing\n\n\u2022 Demonstrated ability to lead/manage a project including task development, scheduling, tracking, reporting status\n\n\u2022 Proven capable of being organized, efficient, and handling multiple tasks while paying attention to detail\n\n\u2022 Excellent written and oral communication as candidate will be expected to prepare briefings for leadership\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $139,100.00 - $208,700.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
