This position will be in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force\u2019s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.\n\nWhat you will get to do: \n\nThe selected engineer will be tasked with supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition / allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification \u0026 validation, and requirements traceability.\n\nSpecific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:\n\n * Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts.\n * Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design.\n * Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model.\n * Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical).\n * Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.\n * Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration)\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree with 5 years\u2019 experience; 3 years\u2019 experience with a Masters\u2019 degree in STEM; or 1 years\u2019 experience with a PhD. Management experience can be considered \u2018in lieu\u2019 of a degree.\n * Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years.\n * Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs\n * 3+ years of experience developing or reviewing requirements within DOORS or similar tool\n * Experience using Jira, Confluence and MS tool suite, i.e. Word, PPT, Excel\n * 2+ year experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) OR complex aerospace/defense systems\n * 2+ year experience in team environments with leadership responsibilities\n * 2+ year experience creating, updating, and maintaining system performance documentation\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Large scale / complex system development experience across multiple phases of a development program: preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off, transition to production.\n * Experience with implementing and using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, practices, and methods.\n * Strong understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) for the development of complex systems of systems.\n * Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities.\n\n\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:\n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage\n * 401k\n * Educational Assistance\n * Life Insurance\n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions\n * Paid Time Off\n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources\n * Employee Discounts\n\n\n\nThis position\u0027s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\n#SentinelSystems\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $163,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
