This position will be in Roy, UT and supporting the Sentinel Program.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do:\n\nThe Sentinel program has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join the team supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition, requirements allocation, requirements traceability, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification.\n\nSpecific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:\n\n * Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop rigorous and proper systems engineering and design artifacts.\n * Work with technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature WS design of a large program.\n * Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model.\n * Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical).\n * Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.\n * Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration)\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications:\n\nThis requisition may be filled at either the Systems Engineer level (T-02) or Principal Systems Engineer level (T-03).\n\n * Systems Engineer: Bachelor\u0027s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience, 0 years of experience with a Master\u0027s degree\n * Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor\u0027s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience, or 3 years of experience with a Master\u0027s degree\n * Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope (\u003c6 years)\n * Must have CJ1 access at the time of application\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Familiar with Teamcenter/CPLM.\n * Familiar with SE events (e.g., PDR, CDR).\n * 2+ years\u2019 experience in ICBM (MMIII or Sentinel) OR complex aerospace/defense systems\n * 2+ years\u2019 experience in developing and executing Systems Engineering process governance documentation in a DoD Engineering and Manufacturing Development phase\n * 2+ years\u2019 experience in creating, updating, and maintaining requirements specifications in DOORS\n * 2+ years\u2019 experience on large scale / complex system development experience across multiple phases of a development program: preliminary design, detailed design, integration and test, verification and sell off, transition to production.\n * 2+ years\u2019 experience in creating, updating, and maintaining Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products.\n\n\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage \n * 401k \n * Educational Assistance \n * Life Insurance \n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n * Paid Time Off \n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n * Employee Discounts \n\n\n\nThis position\u2019s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.\n\n#Sentinelsystems\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
