This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nYou Will Bring These Qualifications:\n\nThis role can be filled at the Principal Civil Structural Engineer (T03) or Sr. Principal Civil Structural Engineer (T04) level.\n\nPrincipal Civil Structural Engineer: Bachelor\u0027s degree in related field from an accredited university with 5 years of experience; or Master\u0027s degree with 3 years of experience; or PhD with 0 years of experience or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree\n\n * Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.\n\n * U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).\n\n * Knowledge and/or experience with structural analysis of structures, utility conduit and connections\n\n-Professional knowledge of structures, statics, strength of materials, structural dynamics principles, and methods.\n\n * Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with adjacent disciplines (e.g. systems engineering, aerodynamics, stress analysis, design, test) in a highly integrated team environment.\n\n * Experience with review of structural calculations, Basis of Design, construction drawings and specifications, logic plans, preferably with aerospace structures.\n\n\n\n\nSr. Principal Civil Structural Engineer: Bachelor\u0027s degree in related field from an accredited university with 8 years of experience, 6 years of experience with Master\u0027s degree, 4 years of experience with PhD or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree\n\n * Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.\n\n * U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).\n\n * Knowledge and/or experience with structural analysis of structures, utility conduit and connections\n\n * Professional knowledge of structures, statics, strength of materials, structural dynamics principles, and methods.\n\n * Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with adjacent disciplines (e.g. systems engineering, aerodynamics, stress analysis, design, test) in a highly integrated team environment.\n\n * Experience with review of structural calculations, Basis of Design, construction drawings and specifications, logic plans, preferably with aerospace structures.\n\n\n\n\nThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:\n\n * Structural Engineer Professional Engineering Registration or Structural Engineer Professional Engineering Registration/SE.\n\n * Excellent interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to clearly and succinctly communicate complex concepts and technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders.\n\n * Exposure to structural test applications.\n\n * Experience with seismic analysis (ASCE 7-16).\n\n * Experience with Uniform Facility Criteria, Uniform Facilities Guide Specifications.\n\n * Experience applying AISC and ACI 318.\n\n * Experience developing and maturing Civil/Structural facility designs that meet Weapon System requirements, UFC, MIL-STD, and other applicable codes and regulations.\n\n * Proficiency with Revit, Siemens NX and Teamcenter\n\n * Experience with Finite Element Analysis and Modeling (ANSYS, GTStrudl, ABAQUS, STAAD).\n\n * Experience with Microsoft (MS) Word, Excel, Power Point, and Engineering Scheduling tools and applications.\n\n * Must be able to work independently, function in a dynamic environment, and be flexible to changing direction.\n\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
