This position is located in Roy, Utah and supports the Sentinel program. \n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do:\n\nOversee the development, request, and implementation of changes to the Program and technical baseline with a focus on ensuring changes are well understood, documented, and executed through the Program approved Change Boards. The Project Change Engineers bring a \u201ccradle to grave\u201d solution for Program changes.\n\nSpecific duties to include, but are not limited to the following: \n\n * Develop change request packages and represent the package through the change board process\n\n * Ensure change request package meets quality standards and is board ready\n\n * Coordinate comment follow-up, resolution, and approvals\n\n * Coordinate and provide input into impact assessments\n\n * Coordinate resolution and closeout of board action items\n\n * Interface with Configuration Management when submitting change requests and finalize change requests after board approval\n\n * Ensure approved change requests are implemented prior to change request closure\n\n * Follow through to ensure change requests are closed timely\n\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications: \n\n * Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years\n\n * Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs\n\n * Bachelor of Science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 2 years of experience; 0 years with Master\u2019s\n\n * 2 yrs of experience with MS Office Suite\n\n * 2 yrs Presentation experience with the ability to present to project and program management, other technical managers, and customers\n\n * 2 yrs Technical writing experience in school or work\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\n * Current DoD Top Secret clearance\n\n * Understanding of systems engineering principles and processes\n\n * Direct experience using the DOORS Requirements Management Database\n\n * Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering concepts and \nSubcontractor technical oversight experience\n\n * 1 year of project management experience\n\n\n\n\nPosition Benefits\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \n\n * Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage \n\n * 401k \n\n * Educational Assistance \n\n * Life Insurance \n\n * Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n\n * Paid Time Off \n\n * Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n\n * Employee Discounts \n\n\n\n\nhttps://www.northropgrumman.com/who-we-are/total-rewards-benefits/\n\nThis position\u2019s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. \n\nThis role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\n#Sentinelsystems\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
