This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel Program. The selected candidate will be part of the Command Systems - Systems Engineering Integration \u0026 Test (CS SEIT) MS\u0026A Team. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nThe selected candidate will be responsible for a Systems Engineering discipline Section within the SDS Systems Engineering organization and will report directly to an SDS Systems Engineering Department Manager. You will provide career mentorship and operational support to a Functional Home Room (FHR) team (Section) of between 8 and 12 Individual Contributors (ICs) based on Engineering goals, objectives, and company policy. Key FHR responsibilities will be personnel performance management, process familiarization and training for Section members, as well as staffing of roles on projects.\n\nAs a Section Manager you will be expected to spend roughly 20% of your effort on Functional Homeroom responsibilities with 80% of your efforts focused on a technical assignment on an SDS project.\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Get To Do:\n\nTechnical responsibilities may include:\n\n\u2022Modeling, Simulation \u0026 Analysis for specific aspects of the system.\n\n\u2022Leading a team of engineers supporting Command and Control Element.\n\n\u2022Support analytical requirement decomposition, development and traceability.\n\n\u2022Support MBSE strategy and implementation.\n\n\u2022Coordinate with sub-contracted product teams for compliance with contractual SOW and established program model governance.\n\n\u2022Contribute content for presentations to internal and external stakeholders.\n\nPosition Benefits:\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:\n\n\\- Medical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage\n\n\\- 401k\n\n\\- Educational Assistance\n\n\\- Life Insurance\n\n\\- Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions\n\n\\- Paid Time Off\n\n\\- Health \u0026 Wellness Resources\n\n\\- Employee Discounts\n\nThis positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.\n\nYou\u2019ll Bring These Qualifications:\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u0027s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) with at least 8 Years of related experience; 6 Years with Masters degree\n\n\u2022Minimum 1 year experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis\n\n\u2022Experience with System Analysis using MATLAB, Python, C++, STK and/or other analytical modeling tools\n\n\u2022Experience in writing and presenting technical content\n\n\u2022Experience with structural and/or electrical analysis principals\n\n\u2022Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher awarded or reviewed in the last 6 years (or in continues evaluation)\n\n\u2022U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)\n\nThese Qualifications Are Nice To Have:\n\n\u2022Strong Understanding of Modeling Simulation and Analysis Principles\n\n\u2022Experience with Department of Defense and/or Missile Systems\n\n\u2022Minimum 1 year experience leading a team and/or driving performance against schedule\n\n\u2022Excellent communication and organizational skills\n\n\u2022Experience with Systems Engineering including analytical requirement decomposition, verification, validation, and functional analysis\n\n\u2022Experience with System Analysis using MATLAB, Python, C++, STK and/or other analytical modeling tools\n\n\u2022Experience with Model Based System Engineering with DOORS or CAMEO and an understanding of DODAF and SysML\n\n\u2022Experience with Product Engineering Development and Life Cycles\n\n\u2022Experience with Agile development\n\n\u2022Experience with Atlassian Products such as JIRA, Confluence, ext.\n\n\u2022Top Secret Clearance\n\n\u2022Currently or previously held SAP Access\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $139,100.00 - $208,700.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
