This position is in Roy, UT, Colorado Springs, CO, Bellevue, NE or Huntsville, NE and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force\u2019s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.\n\nWhat you will get to do:\n\nThe Sentinel program has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer (level 2)/Principal Systems Engineer (level 3) to join the team supporting activities including use case development, requirements definition / allocation, functional decomposition, interface definition, verification \u0026 validation, and requirements traceability.\n\nSpecific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:\n\n * Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts.\n * Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design.\n * Help develop and incorporate the appropriate requirements for the system and ensure that they are properly represented in the model.\n * Develop systems architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture (behavioral, structural, analytical).\n * Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis.\n * Develop unifying model techniques, procedures, and processes (for model development, tool integration, and team integration)\n\n\n\nAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: \nMedical, Dental \u0026 Vision coverage\n\n \n\\- 401k \n\\- Educational Assistance \n\\- Life Insurance \n\\- Employee Assistance Programs \u0026 Work/Life Solutions \n\\- Paid Time Off \n\\- Health \u0026 Wellness Resources \n\\- Employee Discounts\n\nThis position\u2019s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This position may be hired at the System Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer levels depending upon applicant qualifications.\n\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:\n\n * Systems Engineer (level 2): Bachelor\u2019s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience with bachelor\u2019s degree, or 0 years of experience with master\u2019s degree\n * Must be a US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years\n * Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs\n * 1+ years of experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations or 1+ years of experience with Model-Based Engineering / Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBE/MBSE) practices, languages and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDRAW\n * 1+ years of experience with one or more of the following: C2, physical security, cybersecurity, communications systems, facility design, military aerospace development\n\n\n\n * Principal Systems Engineer (level 3): Bachelor\u2019s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with bachelor\u2019s degree, 3 years of experience with master\u2019s degree, 1 year of experience with PhD\n * Must be a US Citizen with an Active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years\n * Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs\n * 1+ years of experience with requirements management/analysis/allocations OR Equivalent Graduate Certificate (e.g., CalTech SE Fundamentals)\n * 1+ years of experience with Model-Based Engineering / Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBE/MBSE) practices, languages and/or tools such as Cameo, Rhapsody or MagicDRAW OR Equivalent Graduate Certificate (e.g., CalTech MBSE)\n * 1+ years of experience with one or more of the following: C2, physical security, cybersecurity, Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) systems/processes, communications systems, facility design, military aerospace development (e.g. Sentinel, Minute Man III, B-2, B-21 delivery systems)\n * Self-driven, able to tackle challenges, solve problems with minimal oversight and make recommendations for solutions/process improvement to leadership\n * Strong written and verbal communication skills\n\n\n\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\n\n * Active DoD Top Secret Clearance\n * Understanding of the Systems Engineering V-Model\n * Experience in SysML or UPDM modeling languages\n * Proficiency with the DoDAF, UAF, or other modeling frameworks\n * Experience with scripting and coding languages such as Python\n * Experience with Agile Development\n * Experience with ICBM weapon system sustainment engineering and integration.\n\n\n\n#SentinelSystems\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $131,400.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $163,200.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
