Server

Brentwood Country Club is seeking a polished, personable, and service-oriented Server to join our team. Our servers play an important role in creating an exceptional dining experience for our members and their guests by providing attentive, professional, and friendly service in a welcoming club environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to members and guests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Have a thorough knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and beverage offerings.
• Make recommendations and answer questions about menu selections.
• Deliver food and beverages according to club service standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented dining area.
• Anticipate members’ needs and provide attentive, personalized service.
• Process checks and payments accurately.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, and other service staff.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and club policies.
• Contribute to a positive and professional team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional service.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and comfortable interacting with members and guests.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is friendly, polished, attentive, and genuinely enjoys creating memorable experiences for guests. Experience in a private club, upscale restaurant, hotel, or other fine-dining environment is a plus.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to effectively communicate in English.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years related experience required.
• Servsafe Certification
• RBS Training certification

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. Frequent bending, stooping, pulling/pushing.
