Located just minutes away from all of the excitement of the glittering Las Vegas Strip and Las Vegas Convention Center, Tuscany Suites & Casino provides guests with a relaxing getaway perfect for business travelers, a long weekend with friends or your next family vacation. We are looking for a Part Time Server for the PUB 365 Restaurant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greeting guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explaining all specials, promotions and food items on the menu.


• Answering questions about menu pricing, preparation, ingredients and plate presentation.


• Memorizing and promoting daily specials.


• Making food and beverage recommendations to guests as appropriate.


• Ensuring the guest needs are met, including keeping beverages full, providing additional condiments and/or food items, and checking back with guests during their meal.


• Balancing end-of-day paperwork, including cash, credit card and due backs with minimal errors, overages or shortages.


• Supporting other areas of the restaurant as necessary.


• Maintaining a complete knowledge and understanding of menu items.

• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required. Must be 21 years old. Must have craft beer experience including 2 years’ experience as a restaurant server. Must have a valid NV Health, TAM, and Non-Gaming cards. Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels. Must be effective at listening, understanding guest needs and clarifying concerns and issues raised by guests. Ability to be flexible and to perform multiple tasks effectively. Friendly, open disposition and professional presentation. Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
