Job Overview

Crain Volkswagen is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team in Fayetteville, AR. The Service Advisor will serve as the primary point of contact between our customers and the service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience while maintaining high standards of service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and courteously, providing exceptional customer service.


• Listen carefully to customers’ vehicle concerns and accurately document service requests.


• Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure proper diagnosis and timely completion of repairs.


• Provide customers with clear explanations of recommended services, repairs, and associated costs.


• Prepare and review service orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.


• Maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding the status of their vehicles.


• Schedule service appointments and manage workflow to optimize shop efficiency.


• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any service-related issues professionally.


• Promote additional services and maintenance to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.


• Maintain a clean and organized service reception area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional automotive training or certification is a plus.


• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive industry preferred.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.


• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and terminology.


• Proficient with computer systems and software related to service management.


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.


• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
