Service advisor

The Mitchell Auto Group operates six locations and is in need of an additional member of our Luxury Service Team at Mitchell Volvo Cars located in Simsbury Connecticut. Excellent opportunity for one results driven individual that excels at customer service looking to represent one of the fastest growing brands. As a Service Advisor at Mitchell Volvo of Simsbury, you will serve as the crucial link between our skilled technicians and valued customers. Your role involves understanding customer concerns, providing expert guidance on vehicle services, and ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the service process. You will be responsible for communicating effectively to schedule appointments, explain necessary repairs, and follow up to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly


• Obtains customer and vehicle information


• Clearly reports all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer


• Determines and recommends needed maintenance base on age, mileage, and vehicle history


• Prepares complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts


• Establishes follow-up time


• Monitors the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, updating customers frequently


• Verifies that final invoice reconciles with work performed on the repair order


• Explains all completed work and charges to customers


• Use of multiple types of software including tablet check in, video multipoint inspections, customer loyalty program, Reynolds DMS, warranty portals, online scheduler, and other tools necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a service advisory role (or other related automotive experience)


• Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes


• Knowledge of automobiles


• Positive attitude


• High volume mentality


• CSI focused
