Job Summary:

Position will manage and organize the day to day operation of the shop.

Working under the supervision and guidance of the Western, Ne General Manager, performs a variety of specific technical, and assistive functions; including, but not limited to:

· Evaluates, services, maintains, and corrects unit conditions by conducting inspections, preventative maintenance and diagnostic testing

· Services and maintains tools, equipment, vehicles and supplies

· assessment and prioritization of daily operational activities at site level

· Support the focus on service goals and standards, while aiding and challenging peers

· Support training and supervision of service personnel as directed by local management

· Maintains excellent customer rapport

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment

· On-call availability as required by management

· Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Job Requirements:

Two years of mechanical experience in transport refrigeration preferred, along with basic management experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, climb stairs/ladders.
• Ability to lift / carry / push / pull up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperature extremes.
• Ability to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment)
