Service Technician

Scope:

Palmetto Propane, Fuels, and Ice is a leading provider of propane and fuel services across South Carolina. We are looking for an experienced Service Technician with a focus on safety. This role involves performing system installations, routine maintenance, and equipment repairs across a variety of settings.

Duties and Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.


• Perform installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of propane equipment and systems.


• Maintain clean and organized trucks and equipment to reflect professionalism.


• Communicate effectively with dispatch and management.


• Participate in an on-call rotation.


• Adhere to company safety guidelines.


• Follow OSHA, DOT, and all state/federal safety transport regulations.


• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required; Class A or B CDL preferred.


• Ability to pass a background check.


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform other physical tasks.


• Strong communication and customer service skills.


• Comfortable using mobile devices and dispatch systems.


• Availability to work full-time hours and overtime as needed.
