Service Technician

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Service Technician to join Volvo Cars of Queens. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing quality service to customers. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and other related duties associated with Volvo Cars vehicles. 

Compensation & Benefits:
In addition to a competitive hourly wage between $17 - $50 per hour, Volvo Cars of Queens offers a comprehensive benefit package including medical and dental health insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid vacation and holidays.

Responsibilities:
• Diagnose vehicle issues and recommend necessary repairs.
• Repair and replace vehicle parts and components.
• Perform routine maintenance, such as tune-ups, oil changes, and brake service.
• Inspect and test all vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
• Maintain repair records and be aware of all warranties.
• Work with other technicians to share best practices.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• New York State Inspectors License
• Automotive mechanical knowledge and experience
• Computer literacy (ability to repair automotive computers)
• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent customer service skills
