Service Technician – Locksmith (training provided)

The Company: Willis Klein Locks & Security is a trusted third-generation expert in residential lock installation and door hardware and is known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike.

• Our Key Shop provides residents with in-store lock repair services, key replacement and other key and lock services.   

The Position: We’re looking for Service Technicians – Locksmith (training provided). The pay range we’re offering is $50k - $75k annually based on experience and training.

Requirements:

- Install, service, and repair various types of locks, door hardware, and security devices

- Cut new or duplicate keys 

- Issue keys and maintain records

- Install, service, and repair both mechanical and electronic locking key systems

- Maintain records of work performed 

- Disassemble, repair, and replace work lock components

- Install, service, deliver, and repair safes

- Communicate with dispatch to receive jobs

- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Ability to cut and issue keys, re-key, install and repair locks and hardware

- Ability to use hand and power tools applicable to the trade

- Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures

- Ability to troubleshoot and fix customer issues while in the field

- Must be self-motivated

- Must be able to follow-directions

- Record Maintenance Skills
