Service Writer - Service

• Prepare and review service estimates, explaining repairs and costs clearly
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and quality service delivery
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding service progress and completion
• Maintain detailed and organized service records and documentation
• Upsell additional services or maintenance opportunities when appropriate
• Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster loyalty
• Stay informed about the latest truck models, parts, and service procedures

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or in a similar customer service role within the automotive or truck service industry
• Strong knowledge of truck systems, parts, and maintenance procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and service documentation
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with service management software and computer systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
