Job title-     Sr. SharePoint Architect/Sharepoint Designer

Duration-  6 months

Location-  Salem OR

Description-

• A Sharepoint Designer Consultant assists our customers to improve graphic design and web page development.
• The Sharepoint Designer should have a firm grasp of HTML and .CSS and have demonstrated the ability to create designs and mockups using tools such as Adobe Photoshop or Fireworks. 
• Candidate must have experience working with SharePoint 2010 advanced features including page design; master page development, and workflow. 
• This role will entail a strong functional and technical understanding of SharePoint 2010.

Skills Desired-

A proven ability to work directly with the clients/business to elicit/document requirements and drive functional vision.

·         Ability to create new SharePoint page layouts, designs and master pages.

·         Ability to create and modify new and existing style sheets, HTML to foster page development.

·         SharePoint Analyst skills; requirements, design, testing, and validation and deployment

·         Ability to create graphics and images to incorporate into new designs

·         SharePoint 2010 end-user administration (permissions, workflow, site creation and management)

·         A strong functional and technical understanding of SharePoint 2010.

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Ability to conduct customer meetings, workshops, and requirements gathering sessions with clients to understand current uses of SharePoint and potential opportunities to expand SharePoint’s use within their unit.

·         Have experience executing tasks within a structured project environment.

·         Knowledge of project management concepts, software development lifecycle and quality assurance techniques.

·         Demonstrated ability to synthesize business requirements into system functionality within the SharePoint framework

·         Be able to facilitate best practices solutions from SharePoint “out of the box” functionality

·         Act as a Subject Matter Expert for SharePoint 2010
