Sheet Metal Detailer

We are a large growing HVAC Contractor in Louisiana that works on many of Louisiana’s biggest and best HVAC projects. This is a full-time position with great salary and benefits package as well as career-growth opportunities. We are planning to hire Louisiana’s best and brightest Sheet Metal Detailer’s  in the near future.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve issues.


• Assist the Senior Lead BIM Coordinator.


• Work closely with and coordinate with Owners, Project Managers, Spoolers, Foreman, Architects, Engineers, Design Consultants, Field Personnel, Estimators, and Vendors to insure work is completed accurately and on time.


• Manage, generate, develop, review, and logging: RFI’s, submittal’s, Contract documents, local code requirements, and construction drawings.

Requirements:

• Local to Texas


• Stable work history.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• 5+ years of experience as Sheet Metal Detailing, Apprentice, Journeyman, and Foreman.


• Strong knowledge in: State and Local Mechanical and Sheet Metal Codes/ASHRAE, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, Autodesk fabrication suite, Revit, BlueBeam, and Navisworks.
