Position Summary

Freedom is seeking an experienced and dependable Sheet Metal Worker to join our growing team. The Sheet Metal Worker will be responsible for fabricating, installing, repairing, and maintaining sheet metal components used in roofing and exterior construction projects. This position requires strong attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in residential and commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, cut, bend, shape, and install sheet metal components
• Install custom flashing, coping, gutters, valleys, and other metal roofing components
• Measure and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal equipment safely and effectively
• Complete metal work according to company quality standards and project specifications
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper fit, appearance, and functionality
• Repair and replace damaged sheet metal components as needed
• Work closely with roofing crews, project managers, and other field personnel
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Properly maintain tools, equipment, and company property
• Represent Freedom professionally when working with customers and on job sites
• Complete additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sheet Metal Worker, Metal Fabricator, Roofing Sheet Metal Technician, or similar role preferred
• Experience with roofing or exterior construction is a plus
• Ability to read measurements, drawings, and project specifications
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely lift, carry, climb, bend, and stand for extended periods
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
