SUMMARY: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The primary duties of a successful Shift Leader are to take full ownership of inventory accuracy, properly plan for each job scheduled throughout the week, oversee quality control in accordance with company control plan standards, manage and review production direct labor, and ensure a safe work environment for all team members. A successful Shift Leader will work and coordinate activities of the employees on his/her shift to meet production targets. The Shift Leader must have a high level of work commitment, attention to detail and the ability to lead, learn and follow plans. Punctuality/Dependability: Adheres to the schedule and comes to work on days when scheduled. This is a salaried position, based upon a 45-hour minimum per week. Hours are subject to change. Occasional Saturdays/Sundays may be required.

Language Skills: ability to read, analyze, and interpret Quality Control Print (QC Print). Ability to accurately complete a Quality Control Plan as well as various other shift paperwork. Ability to document any discrepancies that occur and to communicate this to the required Managers.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Skills: ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and present information to the Production Manager.
