Shift Manager – Rink & Café

You are expected to take ownership of your shift, from team performance and guest satisfaction to cleanliness, safety, and operational flow. A great Shift Manager is proactive, communicates clearly, and leads by example in both attitude and work ethic.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and support team members across the rink, café, and admissions
  


• Ensure a safe environment by actively monitoring the floor and addressing issues immediately
  


• Deliver a great guest experience by resolving concerns quickly and professionally
  


• Manage shift flow, including staffing, breaks, and position coverage
  


• Step into any role as needed (café, front counter, floor, etc.)
  


• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational standards throughout the facility
  


• Monitor food service quality, speed, and safety standards
  


• Communicate clearly with team members and upper management
  


• Handle basic cash management and closing/opening responsibilities
  

• A leader who takes ownership and sets the standard for the team
  


• Someone who stays calm and solution-focused under pressure
  


• Strong communicator who can give direction and feedback clearly
  


• Positive attitude with a “jump in and help” mindset
  


• Ability to balance guest needs with team accountability
