Shipper/Receiver

• Shipping, including assembling loads, processing bills of lading, utilizing packing slips, and preparing shipments according to customer specifications.
  


• Stacking pallets in the pattern specified by the customer, using shrink wrap and strapping as appropriate.
  


• Labeling outgoing pallets and shipments.
  


• Weighing pallets and recording weights in appropriate forms.
  


• Receiving, including obtaining packing slips to ensure listed items were received, noting defective/missing/damaged items, inspecting aluminum according to procedures
  


• Checking the status of needed supplies and the condition of equipment
  


• Flexibility in duties and adjusting to meet customer demands.

• Forklift certified or ability to become certified
